No. Affiliate Buffet is distributed exclusively from muntaseerrahman.com. This lets the plugin ship Pro features in the same ZIP (license-gated) and push updates faster than the WordPress.org review cycle allows. Updates flow through your WordPress dashboard as usual via a built-in update channel.
Which Amazon marketplaces are supported?
All ten Associates marketplaces: US (amazon.com), UK (amazon.co.uk), Canada (amazon.ca), Germany (amazon.de), France (amazon.fr), Italy (amazon.it), Spain (amazon.es), Japan (amazon.co.jp), Australia (amazon.com.au), and India (amazon.in). Set a Default tag once and per-marketplace overrides where you have separate Associates accounts.
What is the Amazon Creators API and do I qualify?
The Creators API is Amazon's official replacement for the Product Advertising API (PA-API), which is being sunset on April 30, 2026. To call it, your Amazon Associates account must have at least 10 qualified referral sales in the previous 30 days. If you don't qualify, every other Pro module still works — only the live product-data fetch on the Product Block falls back to the same OG-scrape flow that free uses.
What's the difference between free and Pro?
Free includes all 6 modules with usable defaults: 5 Keyword Linker rules, full Product Block functionality (OG-scrape fetch + your affiliate tag), Auto-Tagger across all 10 marketplaces, FTC Disclosure, and Link Health Checker capped at 100 links per scan. Pro removes the rule cap, removes the link-checker cap, unlocks styling panels for the Product Block and Disclosure, adds Click Analytics, and integrates with the Amazon Creators API for live product data.
Does the Product Block store images on my server?
No. Images are hotlinked directly from Amazon's CDN — the URL is saved on the post but the image bytes are served by Amazon. This keeps your media library clean and means Amazon's pricing/availability changes never leave you with stale images on disk. The "Image refresh on save" option re-fetches the OG image when the post is saved if you want belt-and-braces.
Can I use it with affiliate networks other than Amazon Associates?
Keyword Linker works with any URL — point it at any affiliate network you want. Auto-Tagger and Product Block are Amazon-specific in v1.4.x; multi-network support is on the roadmap.
Does Click Analytics track my visitors?
No. Click Analytics records what you need to optimize earnings — which post the click came from, which product was clicked, which CTA text was used, which marketplace country it came from, and which module rendered the link. It deliberately does not store IP addresses, user-agents, or cookies. You get the data without a GDPR consent banner.
How does Auto-Tagger handle links that already have an affiliate tag?
It depends on the "Replace existing tags" setting on Global Settings. If on, your tag overwrites whatever was there. If off, links that already have a tag are left alone and only un-tagged Amazon links get tagged. The default for new installs is on, so you don't accidentally inherit a previous owner's affiliate ID.
Will Link Health Checker get my site IP banned by Amazon?
No. Scans are throttled automatically to stay well within Amazon's normal-traffic rate limits, and your scan results are cached so you're not re-fetching the same product over and over. You can run scans as often as you want without putting your site IP at risk.
What happens when my Pro license expires?
Stored data is preserved. Pro features turn off — Click Analytics stops recording, the Keyword Linker cap returns to 5 (existing rules beyond 5 stay in the database, just disabled), styling values stop emitting, and the Link Health Checker scan cap returns to 100. Reactivate a license at any time and everything turns back on with no data loss.
Does it work with caching plugins?
Yes. Affiliate Buffet auto-purges WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, W3 Total Cache, SG Optimizer, and Autoptimize on activation and after every auto-update. HTML-changing releases never sit behind stale cached pages.
Is it FTC compliant?
The FTC Disclosure module renders a clearly-marked affiliate disclosure on every post that contains an Amazon link, in a position you choose (before the first Amazon link, top of content, or bottom of content). Compliance is your responsibility, but the disclosure text is FTC-aligned out of the box and customizable to your jurisdiction's requirements.
How do auto-updates work without WordPress.org?
Affiliate Buffet checks muntaseerrahman.com every 12 hours for new versions. Updates appear in your standard Plugins → Updates screen alongside everything else and install with one click. The check is a simple HTTPS request — no data is sent in the free version, only your license key on Pro for entitlement verification.
